"This is not coicidence". "This is something". At that, Katie broke from the circle, grabbed the shovel and began to dig--and dig she did. If there was one thing that her Dad distilled in her, as a captain in the Navy, you never gave up on your drive or your comrads. She continued to dig while others kept watch until she was five feet down. Then, as she drove her shovel into the next layer, she hit wood.

About the Author
Craig W. Smith was raised on the campus of Ft. Douglas in the year this book took place. He has extensive knowledge of the surrounding areas, including the Wasatch Mountains that surround the campus. He has knowledge of what was happening in the culture and time in 1969 and has incorporated this knowledge into his manuscript. C.W. Smith lives in Salt Lake City, Utah and together with his wonderful wife and three rescued dogs own a water garden store, known as Desert Water Gardens. Craig and his lovely wife love traveling and experiencing other places and cultures. Look for his next book “Father Escalante’s Secret”.
