About the Author

Carolyn Barr is a retired bookkeeper, mother of three children, and grandmother of five. As her children were growing up, she would make up stories to tell them. In her retirement, her family encouraged her to have them published. This is one of those stories. She lives with her husband, Johnny, in rural Mississippi, where she enjoys painting, sewing, and scrapbooking, as well as writing. Her husband putters in his wood working shop and gardens, while she enjoys time in her studio that her grandchildren have lovingly named "Nan's Playhouse".
