About the Book

Spirituality through Art and Poetry can be observed both in a religious setting and in a less religious orientation, although both views may be spiritual. Therefore in the following illustrations the material is intended for both a religious context and a non-religious context. In all there are thirty two presentations.

About the Author

Reverend Thompson graduated from Hamlin High School, Hamlin, West Virginia, in 1954 and, after a four-year enlistment in the US Army, attended and graduated from Alderson Broaddus College in 1963. He received his master of divinity degree from Crozer Theological Seminary in Rochester, New York, in 1966. He has done additional graduate study at the Andover Newton Theological School in Newton Center, Massachusetts. While in college and in seminary, Reverend Thompson served in churches as a student pastor and as an assistant to the pastor. He has held positions as pastor in West Virginia, Massachusetts, and has served as a minister of Christian education in Rhode Island. Rev. David Thompson has also served as a pastor in the United Church of Canada, Fenelon Falls, Ontario.
