The prince found that odd - his missing hat and the cut tulips in the same night. The prince knew that the gardener has access to every room in the castle so he could replace the flowers in the vases. But why would he destroy the tulips and steal the prince's hat? The gardener was an odd bean, but he was treated no differently than anyone else. Still, this was too much of a coincidence to ignore. The prince decided to find the gardener himself and get to the bottom of this. So the prince stormed off in his pajamas and went right to the greenhouse. On his way there the prince passed several servants, but they barely recognized him. The prince was not his usual cheerful self. He entered the greenhouse but the gardener was nowhere in sight.
