About the Book

I believe that this book “Daily Dose of Wisdom” will serve as a torch of light in our life journey. “Lives of great men all remind us, we can make our lives sublime, and, departing, leave behind us, footprints on the sands of time” Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. “All our dreams can come true-if we have the courage to pursue them” Walt Disney. As good food is essential to keep us healthy, so wisdom passed on to us by great men who lived before us, and by sacred scriptures have to be read, understood and inspire us and should motivate our daily lives to achieve success and help us to make our own contributions to the posterity. I have selected 365 motivational ideas from great men and scriptures and illustared them for daily reading in this book to give a daily dose of wisdom for the readers of my book.

About the Author

Dr. Joe Puthen is the Founder, President and CEO of Alert IT Solutions Inc. and has been the driving force in the success of our organization. Utilizing his 25+ years of IT industry experience gained while working at well-known US companies like AT&T, Lucent, CNA Insurance, Capgemini, and other consulting companies, he is able to keep Alert IT Solutions Inc. as the trusted leader in providing IT Staffing and Consulting services to Government agencies, Business and Industry. Dr. Puthen is an accomplished Software Engineer, Scientist, Philosopher and Theologian. He holds 2 Bachelor’s Degrees, one in Software Engineering and the other in Sciences; 2 Masters Degrees, one in Software Engineering and the other in Botany, MBA and PHD, from US and foreign Universities. His Alma Mater includes North Central College, USA; Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago; SB College, Kerala, India, and Thornwood University, Amsterdam. He also holds Degrees in Philosophy and Theology. He keeps an entrepreneurial spirit, with Walt Disney he bevies that all our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them. Dr. Puthen’s biography is listed in the Marquis publication “Who is Who in America” which can be found in US libraries. In his free time, he enjoys reading and spending time with his family. Dr. Puthenpurakal and his wife of 40 yeas, Shirly Jose, have 3 children, Mathew, Thomas and Sherin and 2 grand children, Aryan and Ishan.
