About the Book

Eighteen-year-old Skulltoria wins a trip to India, thanks to her friend Sharp. There she meets the obnoxious eighteen-year-old Prince Roa-Ming, who is half cat. The prince tricks Skulltoria into going back to New York, where trouble soon finds them. When her best friend and the prince are kidnapped by mutants with strange powers, Skulltoria must learn how to use her own powers to rescue them. It seems that dark powers will always follow her.


About the Author

Natalie Figueroa Natalie is the young talented writer that spins the web of intrigue and adventure in this very creative and compelling fun story with an array of multidimensional characters that are memorable and interesting, to say the least. She is the recipient of the Triple C Award from Middle School 223. The Triple C Award is given to middle graduates demonstrating tremendous commitment, character, and courage transitioning to high school. She was honored to receive Principal’s List for her academic achievements from 2006 to 2009 for her obtaining a 90 percent average and above. Natalie was inducted as a member of the prestigious NJHS (National Junior Honors Society), the award given to students in the top 10 percent for grade point average and helping the community. Daughter of proud parents, José Figueroa and Awilda Cuevas, Natalie spends time on writing poetry and imaginative short stories, dancing, and singing. As parents, we are so proud of her efforts and usage of her youthful fun spirit and hope they serve well to guide her into adulthood. Yessenia Martinez, Artist/Book Illustrator Yessenia is a wonderfully talented young lady headed for artistic stardom! Daughter of proud parents, Martin and Lucy Martinez, Yessenia confidently expresses herself through art and literature as an imaginative writer as well as artist. A student at Henninger High School in Syracuse, New York, she will be graduating with a focus in art. Her “art focus team” date of graduation is scheduled for 2010. Yessenia has also earned accolades and acknowledgments in her courses English 11, 2D Art Advanced, 2D Art at Grant Middle School, Syracuse, New York. Additional awards include Syracuse University Grant (2006–2007) and Syracuse University Grant (Summer 2008). Other projects of hers include illustrator for Skulltoria and author of Stitched Up Love. Her technical skills include Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Word. Extracurricular activities include photography and creative writing, Classroom on Wheels Design Project, and the Alphabetical Photography Book Project.
