My Grandma, The Oak Tree and Me

Saniah would spend all day running through the green grassy fields where during the summer time she would climb so high into the trees she would see all the way past her grandma’s house and watch the ducks as they swam in the pond near by. Saniah was too young to know how to get to her grandmas house, but she knew she was there when she saw the huge white house and her favorite oak tree that stood behind it. Of all the trees, the big oak tree was Saniah’s favorite tree. She would spend all day and all night climbing the huge tree. She would imagine it was a spaceship that could take her into outer space, where she would play with the stars and pretend to even talk to the man on the moon. When Saniah finally arrived at her grandma’s house, there she was standing on the porch waiting for her with her arms held open waiting to give Saniah hugs and kisses. She was so happy to see her grandma she jumped out of the car and didn’t stop to close the door.
