RELEASING STARS IN BONDAGE

You are a Star! “That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God…among whom ye shine as lights in the world” Philippians 2:15 The word of God from different perspectives has established it that Jesus is a Star and by the reason of our connection to Him, we likewise are stars. The type of star in discourse is not the usual diamond-like glittering dots in the sky at night, rather, it is what expresses the assignment of every man on earth. We are here, not just to subsist through life but to make meaningful impact. Your star is what dictates the pace, velocity and how far you will go in life. Jesus did not hesitate to point out the need for your star to shine because the whole world lies in wickedness and full of darkness. Jesus said; “I am the Light of the world. If you follow me, you won't have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life.” John 8:12 Beloved, life is more real than all the physical entities we see around. Until you are spiritual to see beyond the physical; you might continue to live in darkness. Every star is saying something; your star is speaking something in particular about your personality which explains why you must be sensitive to issues of your life. When God showed to Joseph the peculiarity of his glorious destiny, this earned him enmity among his brethren. “And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it to his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me” Genesis 37:9 The preceding verse says; “And they hated him yet the more for his dreams, and for his words” (Genesis 37:8). There are many people like Joseph's brother around you and all they are waiting for is an opportunity to strike and put an end to your glorious dreams. They do this without any remorse because they are instruments of cruelty designed by satan to stop you. In every family there are star shooters and star killers. I pray today that whosoever is consulting satanic medium to shoot and to kill your star shall be disgraced in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The Hunt for Stars Every man has a star and this is not connected to any physical quantity rather it speaks about your divine composition and virtue. The intent of God for every star born is to shine but the wickedness of the enemy has made many a wandering star in destiny. “Lift up your head, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle” Psalms 24:7-8 This situation in the scripture shows that there is an issue at stake. The enemy has vowed not to let go of his lawful captives and in some cases, have also sworn to die with their victim. Imagine these powers initially asking questions and refusing to let go of their captive, even at the instance of the Ancient of Days. This invariably means that there are invisible hands such that cover the stars of men and make a man far from fulfillment. Perhaps, someone may ask “why is the enemy so much interested in caging and destroying stars of men?” “The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display his craftsmanship. Day after day they continue to speak; night after night they make him known” Psalms 19:1-2 (NLT). The heavens are declaring and announcing something relevant and important about everyone. This implies you have, in the heavens, a portion that contains and expresses the uniqueness of your assignment. No wonder the devil is keen about hunting down people's stars in order to stop their glorious manifestations. Beloved, note that he that controls the heavens controls the earth. As a believer, you have the authority to address the heavenlies and incapacitate all demonic powers that can control the heavenly places through satanic mediums to cage men. Jesus said; “He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all” John 3:31
