About the Book
This story follows the plight of a family crippled by booze and bare bones poverty. It takes place during the Vietnam era in a community of good folk and hard line drinkers near Boston. The head of the household is Tom Sullivan who is a part-time pallbearer and a full-time drunk. One of his sons is an anarchist, the other is a teenage alcoholic. His wife tries to keep order. Can she? It is also a tale of Casey’s Tavern located just below their window. Is it a malevolent life force that captures unwary souls. The Sullivans believe so. They will try to destroy it. Is it possible?
