The Key to Light and Darkness

There were so many planets out there that need to be saved and I have to save them, but there was one question that was always in my mind: why me, why did they choose me? I’m only a normal, average teenage girl living a normal life but now I’m chosen to save the planets in other dimensions to prevent an evil being wanting to take over all the other planets including Earth. I guess I should tell you who I am. My name is Nexa Rhosly and I’m a 15-year-old high-school student who lives in Rose Rock, OK. You’re probably wondering how someone like me can be transported to another planet? Well here’s the story, I was sitting on the bench in front of the library waiting for my mother to come pick me up when I saw this weird light up in the sky. I thought it was some sort of rocket but when it came closer to me, the light engulfed me and I whited out. When I woke up, I was in a different place with different clothing on as well. My long, straight waist length black hair was still down and my brown eyes including my golden fair skin were still the same except for my clothing. I wore a yellow t-shirt with a mini brown vest over it, a red ruffled skirt with black shorts underneath them that went below the hem of it, a heart necklace with a gold chain that once belonged to my mother’s, a brown communicator on my left arm, and pink sneakers with socks. Right now, I’m in a huge green field that stretched for miles and there wasn’t even a tree in sight. The sky was blue with a cloud or two passing by the sun. “How did I even get here and where’s Rose Rock?” I muttered to myself. “Lost aren’t you?” I heard a voice said behind me. I turned around and saw a girl around my age wearing a beautiful snow covered dress that covered her arms and legs, white ballet flats, and a snowflake clip on her platinum blonde hair that reached her back. Her eyes were honey colored that they nearly turned yellow whenever the sun reflects them. “Excuse me?” I said confusingly. “I said, are you lost?” the girl in white giggled at me. “No clue but who are you?” I asked. “Sorry but I can’t tell you my name. You’re gonna have to figure this out by yourself” she said mischievously. “What is this place?” I asked her. “Planet Orb. Ruled by King Frederick and Queen Rose,” she answered. “Planet Orb? What do you mean Planet Orb?” I said confusingly. Now I’m really confused. What does she mean this place is called Plant Orb? I don’t remember a planet called Orb in our solar system and how is it possible for a planet to be ruled by a king and queen? “I’m guessing you’re new to this planet and from Earth,” she giggled. “Well if you want your questions answered, you’re gonna have to go to the kingdom and ask the rulers about everything” “The kingdom? Where is that?” I asked. “Right over there” she pointed behind me and I turned around to find a small town that was in front of a huge castle that looked to be around the medieval times. Wait a minute, when I looked around there was nothing but the huge green field that had nothing but grass on the ground. Did I miss looking behind me or was the field playing tricks on me? “Hold on, when did that place app- I got cut off when I turned around and the girl in white wasn’t there anymore. Strange, I didn’t even hear her leave. Where could she have gone to? Maybe this place is all just a dream including my encounter with her. Yeah that’s it, it must be. I just gotta pinch myself and I’ll wake up from this weird dream. As I pinched myself, I said a slight ow and realized I was still here. I tried again but a bit harder and the results are still the same. Maybe this isn’t a dream and I’m actually experiencing it. Well since I have some questions to be answered, I better start walking toward that town to find those rulers and get the answers I need on what this place is. I began walking from the field toward the town hoping that they could help me with all these questions running through my mind.
