About the Book

As the Supreme Court is deciding whether to recognize same sex marriage in our country, my book echoes the question posed by Justice Anthony Kennedy;

"In thinking about the impact of this decision on children, they want their parents to have fully recognized and legal status. The voice of these children is considerable in this case, don't you think?"

Yes, Justice Kennedy, I do. It is from the voices of our children that a wise and just decision should flow.

Equal is equal. Right is right. Love is love. Period. End of story. Beginning of a new story; the day of Freedom For Us All.

About the Author

Clifford L. Greenberg, Esq., an adoption attorney in New York City, has devoted his entire legal career to helping children and families.

This is Cliff's fourth book about adoption, the others include I See You, You See Me; My Grandma Is My New Mommy; and Adoption Is Love.

To date, he has helped over four thousand New Yorkers adopt the children they love. Cliff regularly lectures at twenty foster care agencies as well as at statewide adoption conferences and meetings.

As the resident legal expert of the monthly Family Law Clinic at the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center in Greenwich Village, he is extremely proud of his work with same-sex couples.

In recognition for his distinguished work in adoptions, he has been chosen to receive the Angels in Adoption Award issued by the United States Congress in October 2011.

Apart from being a single father to his two young children, adoption is the love of Cliff's life, and his efforts to help loving families puts him in the forefront of adoption attorneys in the Empire State.
