When she went into the pool she put on her goggles and began to swim. What she saw next her eyes could not believe. “Where am I,” Eleni thought to herself. It appeared as though she was in a magical world under the sea. Eleni rubbed her eyes a few times and wondered if this was a dream.

Eleni thought she was going to enjoy an ordinary day, swimming in her pool. As she began to swim under the water, she could not believe her eyes. Is this real or is this a dream? Could this be a magical world under the sea?
About the Author
Despina Karfis has her doctorate degree in clinical psychology. She always had a desire to write a children’s book that would allow children to let their imaginations run wild. Dr. Karfis lives in South Florida with her husband, Bert, and her two children, Eleni and Constantine. She started writing the book with the intention of inspiring her daughter to read, which included character names from their lives. She never thought it would take off and become a book that the world could enjoy as much as her children. She hopes to continue writing children’s books and use her children and life experiences as inspiration.
