The Boy Who Loved Donuts

Chocolate donuts were David’s favorite snack. But he would settle for a glazed one or strawberry filled one. As a matter of fact, David would eat a lemon filled donut covered with delicious sprinkles right about now...if only his mother would stop in the donut car image store on the corner after they got off the bus. But he knew that she would tell him that he ate too many unhealthy snacks. He has tried several times to tell her that he brushes his teeth three times per day, and that he ALWAYS drinks a glass of milk image from p.3 glass of milk with his donut snack to cancel out the sugar in the donut. He can just hear himself asking his mother smartly, “Don’t you want me to grow big and strong?” David’s mother knew that as soon as they came off the bus David would be asking her for a donut from the donut Store front image store at the corner.
