About the Book
Living Joys and Sorrows is a memoir. It’s in poetry form. It reflects my adolescence years—what I’ve gone through to become who I am today.
About the Author
I was born in Haiti. I moved to the United States along with my two siblings in 2001 to join the rest of my family, who had already lived here. I was just seven years old. I attended Central Elementary School, Orange Middle School and Orange High School, where I graduated in June of 2012. Currently, I’m pursuing a degree in psychology at Bloomfield College. My aim is to be a marriage and family therapist one day.
