About the Book

GATORS, SNAKES, BEARS AND BIKERS, OH MY! This book is the second in a planned series of books entitles “Tails of a Woodsman”. This book is similar to the first book Patti has published, it is a collection of humorous true stories of Patti’s encounters with Florida Wild Life. Patti’s gifted story telling style has a way of touching the heart of her readers and many readers report laughing right out loud! Most of the stories in this book happened in the 440,000 acres of the untamed piney woods of the Ocala National Forest. Patti resides in a cottage, near the healing springs of the Seminole Indians---Salt Springs. This is where she shares the land with many Florida critters to include, gators, poisonous snakes, black bears, owls, eagles, and great salt water and freshwater fishing. These stories will warm the heart of the readers and expose the reader to rural Florida, a place that is spiritually scared to those born here and awesomely challenging to the newcomer!

About the Author

Patricia Anderson is a Michigan woman who moved to Florida back in 1983. She found that the Ocala National Forest has a wide variety of wild life living there which appealed to her love for the woods and soon made it her home. She enjoys fishing, hiking, horseback and motorcycle riding. Florida offers good weather for all her hobbies. In addition, Florida offers both fresh water and salt water fishing. Living in the Forest isn’t always easy for a woman however; Patti’s woods survival skills haven’t failed her yet. In the past, her Michigan friends have teased her by calling her “Crocodile Patta”. Patricia, who many just call Patti, completed nursing school at Lake Sumter Community College in 1989 and completed her Bachelor degree in 1998 from Florida Southern College located in Lakeland Florida. Although Patti occasionally wanders out of Florida for employment on the Navajo reservation in Western United States, she is always drawn back to live among the Critters of Florida.
