About the Book

The magical thing about poetry is that it does not speak for one person nor does it speak of one story. We all have something to say but not necessarily the means to convey. While the author expresses her experiences, she also speaks the hearts of others who may not travel the same adventure as her but relates in a way like no other.

About the Author

Farah Atika is a newly budding author who juggles between writing and medical school. Initially scribbling poems to cherish joyous events and portray her moments of saddened heart, she then realised some hidden potentials within. The young lady is a proud Malaysian and a happy student in Egypt; reasoning the mystery behind her tendency to write concerning the two countries. She hopes to contribute, if not much a little, to the reading society by going deep in this field.

"easy understandable poems, something i could relate to while reading. sometimes it is hard to find the perfect words to say the right things for a certain setting, I think Farah says it through her poems, if the reader really take their time to read the hidden message within they will really enjoy the book. i gave 3 stars because i hope in the future i could see improvements. maybe funny short stories, as i enjoy reading comedy, and personally i know you are very good at making up funny stories to be posted on facebook. haha.. i wish you all the best in the future, and i hope to see more publications as i really enjoy your writings"

"I am the father of the author. Of course I will give her a rating of 5. I have read all her poems. What most people would not know would be how she started writing her poems. It was one way for Farah to deal with her parents, both Professors in in an institutional of higher learning in Malaysia. We are a Malay Muslim family, and naturally live a culture quite different from what one finds in the West. Most of the time when she fails to let us see things her way she will write a poem. Reading her poems and trying to understand her is much different from having her say things in direct confrontation sometimes. I think the outcome had been both enriching for all of us. She went on to write her pieces, to include how she sees the world and those around her. I certainly recommend poem lovers to read her poems. It might be an insight into a different culture..... OR could it be that the language of poems transcends colour and beliefs."

"The poems they are very understandable and very direct and you can easily relate urself to it . The ""damn that is so true"" while reading it is very commonly occur . Not only that, this author had allowed me to walk in her shoes and see things her way. very well done! Her poems has very deep meanings to them and are very very much alive. absolutely recommended for ALL POEM LOVERS!!! Poem lovers would definitely be missing a great deal if this very book is still not part of their collection! My cup of tea, exactly.
