About the Book

I wrote several poems in my early twenties. Many years later, I began to write several poems a week. I was inspired by my lovely wife, whom I married in 2010 following a four-year long-distance love affair. These poems are for and about her.

About the Author

Raymond Peter Stone is a radio and television personality, actor, author, poet, and lover of life. Born in South Porcupine, Ontario, Canada, he was raised and educated in Windsor, Ontario. Following a twelve-year career as a public relations major in the RCAF, he was an on-air radio and TV staff announcer with the CBC in Toronto. Ottawa called, and he began a seventeen-year adventure as a public relations officer with the federal government. Retirement led him to try acting, and he has appeared in thirty films. He also began a new career as radio host of a popular program entitled Experts on Call with 580 CFRA in Ottawa, Canada. Poetry has always been a part of his life, and his limericks and rhymes play a significant role in his relationships with friends and family. He is also a published cartoonist and dabbles in other art forms.
