Life

Life
As a child is amiable,
Charming and pleasant;
But
The realization of 'self'
Is the true initiation
Into human existence.
And
This brings us into the rude consciousness
That life is brutish and short!

Safe In Death

We fought this far
into our dreams,
our eyes heavy with tears,
our heart burdened with grieves;
we sailed through the darkest nights
that seared many a life.

We found a place
that once lived in our dreams,
but greed had robbed our dreams,
and rage our passion;
as flesh bequeath on us
a thirst we cannot quench.

Oh!
Save me from the fruitlessness of strife,
and from life and her idleness;
save me from the wretchedness of flesh,
this body that torments my soul;
safe in death; man aligns with peace,
life and strife are one of a kind.



Concealed

Am coming out now;
Out of the box,
Your confine.
Where lower than the dust i lie
In awe of a moment like this

Am coming out now;
Out of the spell,
Your bound.
Where in misery i drank the tears of fear
Dreadful of a day like this

Am coming out now;
Out of the gray,
Your prison.
Forced to break the silence, resolute in will-
Certain; our path shall never cross again!



Called by faith

And
Now;
It all seemed clear,
Even
Much clearer;
As we separated our minds
From all illusions,
The specter of life and death.

And
Then;
We remained in the light,
Even
In illumination;
As we come to the apocalypse of faith
From which all things were called,
Out of darkness; into his light.
