Africa is afflicted by so many issues. There is so much pain in the communities and yet the Church in Africa is growing in numbers in a way never seen before. While the church is growing, suffering, immorality,pain and confusion are also growing at an alarming rate. It is hard to reconcile this kind of a paradox. While the church is growing, it is evident that it has no much influence over issues that affect people. In actual fact the church is interested in prosperity,competition, fleecing people and self-profiling and neglects the very basics of the gospel, meeting Human needs. Africa has a huge church that has so little impact in society and this is the dilemma that this book seeks to address. The African church has confined its activities within their auditoriums and have little showing in the communities. The church gathers amongst itself and spends so much resources competing and self -profiling its Bishops and founders. The simple truth is that the Church is extravagant and selfish in its approach and does not trouble the devil at all as long as people in the communities remain unbelieving and suffering. The book, The Church at War is making a call to the Church to wake up to this reality and begin to engage with the forces of evil that oppress people. The gospel of Christ is confrontational and is a fight. Believers are too comfortable and do not want to get dirty for God and this attitude compromises the thrust of the Gospel. Africa has no reason to proclaim such a lukewarm gospel as it has more freedom in the gospel than any other. Kilton is calling the church to the communities to mitigate human pain, feed people, clothe people, heal people, lead and turn Africa around. the solutions to Africa's current problems are with the Body of Christ. It can be done and the Church must just get into a fighting mood. Africa must be saved.

About the Book
The Church at War is an interesting book that seeks to inspire believers into practical works that can transform communities. In this book, the author is calling the Body of Christ back to its fighting faith and calling in order to manifest the love and the kingdom of God in the communities that are afflicted by so many issues. The church seems to have gone to sleep and to be sidetracked by other doctrines that could be a deception and a way of making the whole church lukewarm and not effective. The book reminds the church that the gospel of Jesus Christ is confrontational in its nature and focuses and requires a church that has a great appetite to engage, therefore. Kilton calls on the church to put on a warrior attitude and resist the schemes of the devil imposed on the communities in the nations.
About the Author
Kilton Moyo is a teacher by profession. He is a graduate theologian and a guidance and counseling consultant. He is a regular writer to local print media on issues that affect people on a daily basis and offers Christian counseling to various sectors of the community. He is an ordained pastor and is currently working with an international NGO based in Zimbabwe and offers psychosocial support and counseling to staff and communities. He is the founder of Citizen Africa Foundation, a trust that seeks to help the family in Africa with marriage and parenting, guidance and counseling, and various other issues that afflict the current family. He is an advocate for the creation of wealth at the family level and has a great passion to see the church influence issues in the communities. Kilton is currently studying for a master’s degree in Christian counseling. He is married and has four children.
