About the Author
Harris David Foster was raised in Cranston, Rhode Island. It is there that he developed a great love of the ocean, spending summers at Narragansett Pier and an equally great appreciation for the outdoors, during his summers at Camp Massasoit. Harris received his BS from Springfield College in 1979 and MS in Occupational Therapy from Western Michigan University in 1983. Harris has been a practicing Occupational Therapist for over three decades specializing in pediatrics. In 2009, he was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. He received treatment over three years and has been symptom free since September 2012. Since 2006, Harris also has been donating his time as a participant in the Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC.org) He has raised money for The Dan Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, where he was initially treated. Donations are always welcome to the PMC are always appreciated. Harris has always had a great passion for music, having played instruments in his youth. He is also a carpenter and known for his cheesecakes. Harris current resides in New Jersey with his faithful canine companion, Grace. To contact Harris: moodyblues4357@live.com
