About the Book
In a world that has become so inundated with self-help books that offer a number of clichés and mantras to assist us in life, Christians have often forgotten that the Word in which we profess to stand in possesses the power in which we need. We have even permitted scripture to become a habitual part of our lives, diluting the power of the precepts we have been taught. Can Do Power: Embracing the Blessings of Philippians 4:13 is the first of several books in a series that seeks to remind you of that power.
About the Author
Inspirational teacher, speaker, and author, Raushanah N. Butler is a native of Jacksonville, Florida, and resides in the Metro Atlanta, Georgia, area with her daughter Joi. She obtained her bachelor of science in marketing from South Carolina State University and went on to DeVry University’s Keller Graduate School of Management, where she received her master of business administration, master of project management, and graduate certificate in entrepreneurship. Having endured such situations as physical and sexual abuse, homelessness, repossession, foreclosure, and an illness that almost cost her the ability to speak, she found comfort in the power of the scriptures and hopes to use her experiences to empower others to draw from that same well.
