THE AFRIKAN RENAISSANCE

The Afrikan Renaissance "Cry No More" is a compilation of my heart's desires and my trials and tribulations. Through trials and tribulations my heart reveled my innermost feelings, a road map of such, through the journey of my life's mysteries. In The Afrikan Renaissance "Cry No More" I share observations. The world around us is one large canvas, which awaits an artist to paint his or her masterpiece. In this case the artist is me, E. Oglesby and this is my masterpiece - my gift to the world. My thoughts and observations are the means that I utilize to create my masterpiece. I am an artist in my own right. As an artist I want to share my art with you. Therefore, sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride. I hope while taking this journey with me you will find it familiar in some ways and useful in your everyday lives. I begin The Afrikan Renaissance "Cry No More" with a very familiar verse from the Bible, Ecclesiastes - Chapter 3. Consider the first lines of this verse, "To every thing there is a season;" Just stop and ponder on that phrase. Think about your life and how it revolves around seasons. Take trouble for example. Trouble does not last always. If we believe and have faith the season will change for the better. I know that if you think long and hard you can remember those times where it seemed as though you would not make it through, but you did. The Afrikan Renaissance "Cry No More" is all about the seasons of my life. The Afrikan Renaissance "Cry No More" is not in any special order because the trials and tribulations of my life were not in any particular order. At times I wrote poetry and at other times I wrote in my journal regarding my trials and tribulations. In addition, at times I turned to a blank canvas to paint what I felt in my heart. Just sit back and take what you need from the seasons of my journey. I hope that these seeds help guide you through the mysteries of your life. God Bless!
