The interaction of children together and working together is so important in life building. Sports games teach discipline and team work, they are fun and exciting. Team sports boost self esteem and help with good health. Teams win games, not just players. Everyone on the team has a role, a place and a responsibility. Grecko and Wade see together that working as a team is when victories happen. Whether it be at school, at home with family or on the ice. Life is fun, friendships are more important and it’s team work that wins the game!
About the Author
Andrew J. Warden was raised in Canada’s wild and scenic west coast. He has taken real life experiences, morals & strong family values to create Grecko. He now resides in the sunny Okanagan and plans on writing many more Grecko books in the future. Clinton Baker grew up in St. Judes, Newfoundland and now resides in North Vancouver, B.C. with his wife Melissa and their three children Stephen, Naomi and Joshua. Clinton’s work has earned him the “2009 Ben Wick’s Award” an annually held international illustration contest.
