About the Book

The book is a collection of short stories. Each one a complete tale in itself of different situations that make people feel uneasy. These five stories touch on common fears. The fear of being alone, drowning, insects, wild animals, or some unknown lurking in the shadows. What are you afraid of?

About the Author

Dave Horner was born in West Virginia and moved with his parents along with his younger sister to Mansfield, Ohio. Graduating from the Ohio State University with a degree in business administration in 1989, he spent the next eighteen years living and working in Columbus, Ohio. Taking time off from work due to an illness, he decided to challenge his normal nine-to-five lifestyle and began writing. He has been married to his wife, Kathy, for nineteen-plus years. The two live happily in the country, northeast of Columbus, Ohio. This is his sixth published novel to go along with Guilt, Slow Burn, I Promise: A Grandson’s Destiny, Murder at the Reservoir, Wild Ride, and Disorder in the Court. All of the novels have different genres and themes, and all of the novels’ royalty proceeds go directly to the Ohio state MS clinic.
