About the Author

Barbara J. Malloy lives in Charlotte, North Carolina with her loving husband of 26 years, their 4 amazing children and their two dogs; Tyco and Haseo. Barbara is a native New Yorker reared on the family farm (Downey Farm), in the small town of Oine, North Carolina, in Warren County. Barbara had the pleasure of growing up on Downey Road, named in honor of her family. Barbara holds a degree in Psychology and a Master’s in Education Leadership with a specialization in Law and Public Policy. Barbara enjoys writing and opening the minds of youth and all her readers. Barbara began writing at a young age and took full advantage of using her environment to create her stories. She developed Ralph the Wind Rider to provide the students, parents, and schools a tool to combat bullying in school, home, and community.
