About the Book
Bill Raines was the marshal in Rio Madre, Texas. He knew he needed a deputy and eventually hired nineteen-year-old Corey Hansen. They developed a close working relationship as they tried to keep the town free of the riffraff that came and went. While trying to bring down a gang of rustlers, Corey undergoes a life-changing crisis, and Marshal Raines has to deal with the aftermath.
About the Author
I was raised in a small town in West Virginia and joined the US Navy a few years out of high school where I was ultimately stationed at the Naval Hospital in Bethesda, Maryland. I met my future husband through mutual friends, and we have been happily married for thirty-four years. I have a few passions in my life: art, writing, and paranormal investigations. Now, at sixty-five years old, after writing my first book on our ghost hunting adventures, I am trying something new with writing a fiction novel. I hope you enjoy this little adventure.
