About the Book

This collection of verse is an escape from reality when we need one, though it is as real as anything we would call “real.” Written with my deepest core, including a little essence of myself in every verse . . . trying and answering questions often asked by my wandering mind in words. Do I find a little of my personal Utopia in the collection? I find a lot more . . . It is hoped that the reader would find answers to some question I am sure you have asked yourselves in the long run, somewhere in this space-time continuum given to us. It is hoped that in the end, you enjoy the journey.

About the Author

Brought up in a hill station in the North Eastern part of India, I have been a willing recipient of the wonders of nature that Shillong threw up at me. From streams to hillocks, pine trees and clouds—the rains would often mean that you stayed back at home reading or writing (if you had the desire). I chose the latter in between engrossing reads from the former. My childhood gave me a constant, which helped pass phases of losing myself in the milieu and in life. I have used verse to give comfort and find stability in an otherwise difficult existence.
