About the Book

This book has poems that are written from the heart. Poems range from laughter, emotions, and feelings. After reading this book, I hope that people can relate, laugh, and learn from what I have written. Coroners of the Heart: My Life in Words has been a work in progress. Hopefully, the reader can escape to another place when reading these poems.

About the Author

Denise Rice loves writing poetry in her spare time. Denise would like to thank her high school freshman English teacher, Mrs. Clara Malak, for exposing my talent and the love of reading/writing poetry. Writing poetry is a release for me to put my thoughts, ideas, and feelings on paper. I always have pen and paper with me just in case the urge hits me! This book is for those who want to make their dreams come true—I have!
