About the Author

When I became grandmother to two adopted children, I began to look at the phenomenon of adoption in a rather different way. What emotional eddies are created by it? How do these eddies react to each other? Now that I am in my eighties, I have seen families implode even when they are all related. What is the secret of family success? I have found the exploration into the world of adoption fascinating. And I hope the wisdom of old age will keep me searching into such intriguing areas of life for a little longer yet.
