About the Author
Dr. Sentissi graduated from Functional Medicine University with a Diploma of Nutrition and Certification as a Functional Medicine Practitioner. He completed his undergraduate studies at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, and contributed as a research assistant in a PhD program of Arts and Sciences at Indiana University (Music Astrology). During school at Functional Medicine University (FMU), he studied advanced training in medical detective work and botanical medicine with Dr. Grisanti. As a celebrated chef, he gained further inspiration in nutritional healthcare by offering natural food cooking classes and sharing the Functional Medicine approach to optimal health. The root of his philosophy for addressing chronic and autoimmune disease, combines both physical and mental-emotional healing methods. He strives to teach clients that their good immune health is dependent on the following: A well-functioning autonomic nervous system, and healthy a gut A balanced, enjoyable diet chock-full of delicious, nourishing foods A support network of relationships with friends, family, and medical practitioners to support a healthy mind-body connection Dr. Sentissi speaks 5 languages (English, French Arabic, Spanish, and Music) and is proud to bring his passion and decades of health knowledge to his own clinic, Wholestic Nutrition.
