About the Book
The recollections of the Misawa Baptist Mission in this work are primarily from Clyde Wilton while he served as a USAF Chaplain at Misawa AB, Japan, from July 1959 to June 1963 and the years that followed. While serving as a chaplain in Japan, Clyde was privileged to also follow a calling from the Lord to spread the Christian Gospel to the Japanese people. As an answer to the prayers of Clyde and a number of other military personnel, the Gospel message was implemented through the establishment of a Baptist mission in the city of Misawa, which came to be known as the Misawa Baptist Mission.

Clyde Wilton is a retired Baptist minister, and he was responsible for translating the writings of the “minor prophets” of the Old Testament of the Bible from the Hebrew text. Aaron Wilton is a retired pharmacist, and he compiled and edited the translated English text and provided pictorial illustrations to augment the messages of the prophets.
