My Valley Is Gone

About the Book

This is a true story of a black crow whom I befriended by placing bread crumbs on my backyard fence every morning. I named him Willie. Unfortunately, however, our friendship ended when Willie was forced to leave his natural breeding grounds as a result of population expansion.

About the Author

Gil McCue is a credential art teacher, illustrator, and professional cartoonist. His career began with his college newspaper, senior year book, and while in the US Navy. He has published two comic strips and is a current member of the “National Cartoonist Society”. This is his 4th children’s book.
