About the Author Gwen strives to write a balance of short, easy to read pattern stories with longer fiction and non-fiction stories that contain factual information and shine the spotlight on the environment. Gwen is actively involved with a number of nature groups and participates regularly in community tree planting. She encourages everyone to plant as many native trees as possible to help reduce global overheating and mitigate the devastating impacts of climate change. About the Illustrator Since graduating from Nova Scotia College of Art and design University in 2008, Andrea has travelled and worked as a graphic designer and illustrator in Canada and abroad. Passionate about environmental issues she hopes to bring awareness, courage, and teach others how to participate in the fight against climate change.
