About the Book
Jive Goes for a Walk is about a young boy named Jive. Jive is very proud of his high top shoes, so Jive decides to go on a walk to show off his shoes. As Jive walks he runs into several people whom he greet with anger and frustration. During Jive's walk he talks with a friendly cloud who shows him that people's differences are what make them special. Jive learns a powerful lesson this day and changes his attitude so that he is more accepting of others.
About the Author
Jamie Graham was born in South Bend Indiana in 1956. Jamie has spent most of his life in central Missouri where he became an inspiring, artist arranging art shows and fundraisers. Jamie is known for his cartoon like illustrations throughout Special Olympics and all around the country. He has even drawn personal pictures of famous baseball players and actors. You will find Jamie's name in the Special Olympics Hall of Fame for his service to individuals with disabilities and his own personal achievements. Jamie's free spirit illustrations and stories have touched the lives of many and he gives Glory to God for his ministry. If you ask Jamie what his biggest dream is he will reply "to get a book published so that everyone can share my pictures."
