About the Book

Where were you when the pandemic hit the United States in 2020? In what ways did it affect your life? The unexpected arrival of a new disease of such magnitude upset the usual routines of our lives in significant ways. Evelyn Dahlke, a retired pastor and senior citizen, chronicles her life during the pandemic in an honest and forthright manner. Her reflections, journaling, and poetry reveal her daily experiences and struggles informed by history, politics, faith, and finally hope.
