About the Book
I learned early on, in my teaching career, that having a great classroom culture of positive student behavior was something I had to create and nurture in order to get the best academic outcomes for students. I also learned that it did not matter how much of the academic content I knew if I did not have the behavior management plan that would allow me to teach the content. Because of the effective student teaching experiences that influenced my career, I felt called to write this brief but comprehensive guide for teachers who want to master classroom management and enjoy the countless benefits it brings. It can absolutely be achieved—if you want it for yourself and your students. I did not reinvent the wheel but shared information that all educators must know and realize regarding the teaching and learning process. There must be order in the classroom to effectively teach students. I believe successful classroom managers are both born and made. My goal is to help every teacher become an expert in managing student behavior. It involves creating a plan, diligence and consistency. If you are ready for the challenge, keep reading. I wish you a wonderful school year ahead
