About the Author

John Hulse is a poet, artist, photographer, and filmmaker from Anderson, Indiana. He is the author of seven books including The Best and Worst Job I Ever Had (selected poems 1985¬–2005) (2006); Villains of the Impeachment: Sex, Lies and $50 Million Taxpayer Dollars (2004); Democracy for Sale: The Two-Year Search for Extraterrestrials and Campaign Finance Reform (2002); From the Beats to the B Sides (1999); Teachable Movies for Elementary and Middle School Classrooms (1998): Let’s Play . . . (1996), and Somewhere West of the Fields (1992). His work has also appeared in twenty-five anthologies, including Mythic America: An Anthology of New American Poetry (Crescent Moon-England). He is also a featured poet in the 1997 through 2000 editions of The Poet’s Market and has received awards from the Bay Area Poets Association, the Southern Writer’s Association, including the International Poet of Merit Award as well as the Shakespeare Trophy of Excellence. Mr. Hulse has also worked as a book editor for dozens of universities and publishing companies all over the world.
