Evelyn Hilton has both B.A. and Master of Education Degreesfrom Sam Houston University in Huntsville, Texas, and Sul Ross University in Alpine, Texas. and she taught art and reading in Texas public schools for twenty-six years. Now retired, she and her husband live in the country between Brownwood and Bangs, Texas. When she is not writing or drawing illustrations for her books, she and her husband, Bob, are enjoying their six grandchildren and traveling. Evelyn delights in writing for children.
