About the Author

The author is a native of Bridgeport, Connecticut. Gleaning his practical advise from life experiences as a World War II veteran, 32-year career as chief chemical engineer at Sikorsky Aircraft, as father of five grown children, grandfather, husband, civic and church activities.

Currently retired, Jim enjoys keeping busy and after many years of service to family, community and country he has seen the need to continue helping others through the benefit of his own life long abilities in solving problems that arise in day to day living within the wider scope of current environmental and societal dilemmas. A primary concern he wishes to convey is the imminent need for each individual to become a "responsible guardian" of this planet we all live on and share.
