This reviewer and her three children highly enjoyed Monnar's children's picture book. Appropriate for any age, children are sure to learn the social situations outlined in this 24-page rhyming book--emotions & feelings, prejudice & racism, and values. ''It Doesn't Matter'' would work well with teacher learning plans and directly during classroom reading times. Day care providers and child-related organizations such as Big Brothers, Big Sisters, would also benefit from reading ''It Doesn't Matter'' to children they care for.
Ana Monnar has been teaching for over 25 years--currently teaching fourth grade. This is Monnar's fifth book.

About the Author
Ana Monnar is married to Octavio Monnar. They both were blessed with three children, Alberto, Anna and Alexander. The children also have a big sister named Alina. Mrs. Monnar has her hands full by raising the three children by herself, due to her husband suffering from Alzheimer's disease. The family adopted Lulu, the star Yorkie from YTMAR, a wonderful rescue group. Sunny, a Yellow Nape has been with the family for 17 years.
Mrs. Monnar has been teaching for over 20 years. She is currently teaching fourth grade. Mrs. Monnar earned a Masters in Science degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Florida International University. This is Ana Monnar's fifth book. The first four are titled, Half Full, Or Half Empty? A Collection of Poems, Poetry from Planet Earth, Adoption? Thank God for That Option!, and The Law of the Funnel.
