About the Author

Judy Brown is a leadership educator, poet, writer and speaker, with a passion for helping people uncover gifts and connect with one another. Her work and writing point us toward powerful frameworks for action and provide us with natural ways to be more effective stewards of the things most dear to us and of the natural world around us. A former White House Fellow, she holds a PhD in Comparative Literature, and has been affiliated with The Aspen Institute and The University of Maryland. Her books include The Choice, A Leader’s Guide to Reflective Practice, and two collections of her poetry—The Sea Accepts All Rivers, and Simple Gifts.
