In The Absence I could drop it onto the ground that you stand. I could stop it on the thought that you’d win. I could run until the sun grows cold. I could fight until it is your heart that I hold. I could sleep until I can never awake. I would weep, but it is you that is late. In the absence of reality, I hold your breath in my hand. In the memory of your absence, I ball-up in the back of my mind. In your last wish, you asked who I truly am. “Forever I’m away.” I could drop it onto the ground where you lay. I could drop it, in the world’s dark haze. I could love it but you push me away. I could love it, until the end of gray. I could sleep until I never awake. I could weep but it is you I seek. Should I have told you the truth? Should I have held you that close? Should I need a new drive to my end? In the absence of reality I find no sanity… Dead Skin Show out - slow down - shoot in - dead skin. Scream low - end flow - down blow - dead skin. Broken heart - crumble apart - welcome sin - shoot within. Mangled flesh - hole in breath - I try to die… break the sky. I watch the world pass me by. I watch the light dim and die. I scream and see the flesh torn from my body. I laugh un-feeling the torment you inflict. I go on no more of the madness inside. I try, I die… you smile.
