Svaramin was attending a meeting with Mortikon and his lieutenant Ormur in Mortikon’s throne room. Mortikon, dressed in his coal black armor and black boots, was sitting upon his throne made from a block of ice. His head was garbed with a full facial helmet which only made his appearance more menacing. From the facial slit of the helmet shone eyes like embers as red hot coals. His arms ended in coal black gloves rimmed at the wrists by silvery spikes. As Mortikon is a leiche, he portrayed no facial features. Leaning forward upon his broadsword between his legs, he listened wisely while Ormur was speaking. Ormur, a human which had been a traitor from HearthGlen, had been converted as a loyal Northern Realm soldier by Mortikon. With blonde locks to his shoulders, he appeared to be middle-aged, trim and intelligent speaking. “My liege, the Dwarven people are ready to consent to the Althing in HearthGlen. They have agreed to most every demand our contact in HearthGlen have mentioned. As for the Gnomes, they will be extinguished forever within the next few years. The Elves, however, are a problem. Our propaganda campaign in HearthGlen is working, but because they never really joined the Southern Realm as allies, they are more difficult to work with. And as for that meddlesome fool Helgi…”

About the Book
The elves, dwarves, and gnomes had been hounded by the humanoids in the continent after the Rendering Wars had ended. No longer threatened by the evil forces from the Northern Realms, the humans turned their sights upon the little people. This is the tale of the exodus from the land of the humans to unchartered lands across the seas. With the help from a wizard, the little people of the continent face dangers, not only from the myriad of demons, orcs, and magical beasts, but they face perils from the humans as well. Now the little people must flee to rebuild their own empires without interference from humans.
About the Author
The author wrote the series Forgemasters of the Realm; the trilogy was written because he enjoyed reading as a child. This work titled Forgemasters of the Realm: Arkaain Savior continues with the series. Book one in the series, followed by The Rendering Wars and Coronation, has been published and is currently available in stores. Snæbjörn has a degree from a university in the USA (accounting and finance) and a degree from Iceland (systems analysis). He is also a veteran from his service in Vietnam. Snæbjörn is born in the USA, grew up in Tripoli, Libya, and now spends time in both the USA and Iceland.
