2024 Printers Row Lit Fest Book Signing

Each year, more than 100,000 book enthusiasts gather at The Printers Row Lit Fest, the biggest outdoor book fair in the Midwest, located in the center of Chicago's famous printing district.

The 2024 Printers Row Lit Fest will take place on September 7–8, 2024, in the historic Printing House Row District on South Dearborn Street, extending from Ida B. Wells to Polk Street.

Through a variety of talks, mini-events, and, of course, books, this two-day community-based book celebration hopes to unite readers of all ages! It features thousands of titles, ranging from self-published works like yours to rare literary jewels!

This yearly event is a great way for you to promote your book and have a book signing session with prospective readers.

What you get:

  • A one-hour Book signing session – You’ll be in the spotlight signing books during your own one-hour book signing in the Author Solutions booth at Printers Row Lit Fest.
  • Promotional materials – You’ll get 50 bookmarks to give readers and fans, plus a poster displayed during your book signing to promote the event.
  • 50 softcover copies of your book – Sign and give away 50 copies to excited readers at the festival.*
  • Placement in the Author Solutions Bookstore Gallery – In the Author Solutions Bookstore Gallery, 6 softcover copies of your book will be displayed and available for sale. 
  • A spot in the Author Solutions Book Catalog – Your book cover and description will appear in our digital catalog, which features all the books in our gallery. Interested buyers can purchase your book through trusted online retail websites with just one click from the catalog. Attendees can access the digital catalog through the QR codes displayed in the gallery.
  • Social Media Announcement – We'll announce your book's involvement on our active social media pages!

To be eligible for this service, your book must be live and currently available for purchase.

What You Need To Know

The deadline to sign up is July 31, 2024, but spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis, so don't wait.

*Please Note:

  • Your book must be live and available for sale before purchasing this service. No exceptions.
  • If your book is in resubmission, we cannot guarantee that the resubmitted version will be available for the event; the older version of your title may be used instead.
  • Your catalog description will be adapted from your book’s description in our bookstore.
  • Authors are responsible for their own travel arrangements and expenses.
  • This event is held outdoors, so please check the weather forecast so you can plan accordingly. This event is held rain or shine. No refunds due to weather.
  • Only one author is allowed per book signing.
  • You are not allowed to bring copies of your book to sign in addition to the 50 copies we will provide for you. Authors may keep any copies of their book that remain after the signing, but these copies may not be sold at the fair.
  • Printers Row Lit Fest will also be conducting author book signings and will have a separate, larger space for them, but you will be associated with the Author Solutions booth.
