About the Book

IOur time traveler Hope, and her husband Jost, have adopted an adorable little boy. He was one of the throw away children, a boy who had no parents or home. Would he be able to adjust and be a normal little boy? A family member had done some terrible things to John, Hope and Jost had to do something. Truly he was a boy bought for a king’s ransom. This is part six in the continuing story of Hope, the 21st century time traveler who enjoys seeing history first hand. Hope and her family continued to vacation anywhere in time they pleased and had some interesting adventures. On a lark, she and Neik made plans to take a wagon train to the west, just for an adventure. It sounded like it would be a great family vacation, but it certainly wasn’t in Hope’s plans to encounter hostile Indians. Real bullets made her realize she made a foolish mistake. What was happening to their farm, the cheese factory, and the community? They kept visiting the Spook Hollow site over and over, and viewed progress from the 21st century. The time slip kept calling to Hope; the beings were trying to pull Hope into the time slip, in effect ending her physical life. Hope meant to raise her son, not disappear for good. She dared not relax; she had to keep fighting to stay in her life with her husband and family in the 19th century.

About the Author

Once the Terror Series was written, I realized the personal details of the people who lived in the area needed telling. What student of history doesn’t want to see historical events in person. What better way to tell the story than from the eyes of a time traveler. Many of the details in the book have been gleaned from studying this period in the history of our Mohawk Valley. I live in a house overlooking the beautiful Mohawk Valley and I can almost see events as they unfold in the book. The characters have been telling me their story and I simply write it down as fast as I can. This started four years ago; they are still talking to me.
